This position assists the CD/IZ Program Coordinator in ensuring that the Lake County Health Department Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Immunization (IZ) programs are implemented effectively. This position is responsible for assisting FQHC staff in managing vaccine supply; vaccine accounting; evaluating the immunization workflow; and developing immunization improvements for the Lake County Health Department, Federally Qualified Health Centers. Desired outcome for this position is to train FQHC staff to carry out the outlined duties independently.
This position is grant-funded until March 31, 2023. This position reports to the CD/IZ Program Coordinator.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption within 30 days of hire. If not fully vaccinated, you must follow the requirements for unvaccinated until you meet the definition of fully vaccinated.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours a week
- Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)
